Additional revenue, TikTok introduced new feature

TikTok, the popular video-sharing app, has recently introduced a new feature called 'Series,' allowing users to earn extra income from their viral videos. This feature is expected to be a game-changer for content creators looking to monetize their videos on the platform.

With Series, eligible users will be able to compile their videos into an album and sell it to their followers for a fee. Each album will consist of up to 80 videos lasting up to 20 minutes. Currently, this feature is available only to a select number of users, but it will be rolled out more widely soon.

The users will have complete control over how much they will charge for their album, ranging from $1 to $190. TikTok will not take any share of this revenue, but users must pay a fee to be part of the Series. The exact fee charged by TikTok for this service is yet to be disclosed.

It is not yet clear how a user will qualify for the Series feature, but according to the company, an application option to join will be introduced soon. This feature is expected to revolutionize the way creators make money on TikTok and provide them with an additional source of income.
