YouTube has given users a big blow
YouTube Raises TV
Subscription Price Due to Increased Content Costs
According to reports from foreign media,
YouTube, owned by Google, has announced that it will raise the price of its TV
subscription due to the rising content costs. YouTube stated that it wants
to continue investing in providing its users with uninterrupted, high-quality
services. The company tweeted that since customers are aware of the increased
cost of content, the subscription fee must also increase.
The new pricing will go into effect from March
16th, and for existing users, it will be effective from April 18th. YouTube
stated that it will be increasing the price of its Plus add-on from $64.99 to
$72.99 per month. This is the first time YouTube TV prices have been raised in three years.
As YouTube continues
to invest in its services, it is important for the company to raise its prices
to maintain its quality of service. While the increase in subscription fees may
surprise some, it is necessary to ensure that users continue to
receive uninterrupted access to quality content on the platform.
